One thing I have found is each person must feel what happiness is in their life. For myself I have found that shifting the definition of that feeling to a different word has helped tremendously. I connect to feeling the embodiment of joy.
For so many years my "happiness" was in others hands, I looked to them to bring that happiness to me, by being what I wanted and what I needed. Not!
To me, Joy is grounded in a deep sense of Thanks. It is a life full of gratitude and the willingness to share, give and receive. My happiness was fleeting and not grounded in any part of self, not that I could realize.
Now that we are in the seasons of Thanks-giving and Joy, let's feel within our core of existence the Thanks, the Love, the Joy and bring that to what we have been gifted, "Life." We will find the action of living a joy-filled life will allow others to connect to their way of accessing this in their lives and on and on and on.
It is the way we learn, grow and find our "Wonderful Life."
Life is unfolding gracefully for Inner Tapestry, we have 59 new distribution locations in CT and very soon you should be able to pick-up the journal at the Hannaford Stores in Southern Maine. We are always looking for new locations and would like to extend the invitation to anyone who would like to share and offer the journal at their event, please let us know.
The Holiday season for the journal is a quiet time, people are immersed in preparation for the holidays and their connection with family and friends. As we flow through this season, remember the many places that could use our help and physical assistance. Find some time to help a family member, a friend or maybe even your local food bank or shelter. They not only need funds to provide but also the physical presence of many hands to do a great deal of work.
The greatest gift we can give is the one of self, of our time, to help another whether it be as a dog sitter for some who needs to travel, for a mom who needs to shop, for the less fortunate that will need food or fuel for the holiday season and beyond. We are never at a lack to find the ways to bring that Thanks and Joy into the world and express it as we feel drawn to.
We are starting a New Year. At this point we will be two months into the 6th day of the Mayan Calendar. This is the last 360 day of what the Mayan's called the "underworld." Some describe this as the age of the mind, the age of male dominant energy, with a shift to living a life from the heart, living from a softer nurturing female energy. Whatever the shift is, no matter how bumpy the road, we all have the choice to bring our Hearts, our Thanks, our Joy and our Love to the final moments of another's view of civilization as it was known to them. To the final moments of our way of being as it evolves and leads us to another way of being that will bring forth a new willingness to embrace all that is... All That Is.
So please accept our gift of Thanks and Joy this holiday to help you to connect to your gifts of Thanks and Joy and to keep it moving just like the many emails that are passed around everyday.
